MaterialsFor now at RP2industrial we have available Nylon PA12, a strong, durable and versatile material. The parts printed in PA12 are suitable for constructive technical components. Directly out of the printer the outer surface of the parts is coloured marbled grey. It is possible to apply a black colour dye, which results in a completely black colour. Other high-quality plastics will be available in the near future. | Working range and geometryThe machine has a build envelope of 380 x 284 x 380 mm. Objects with this maximum size are printable. Smaller parts will be nested within the building volume. Due to the absence of support structures complex shapes are easy to print. It is possible to make functional live-hinges. The tolerances of the printing process are in the range of tenths of a mm, also depending on part size. |
SpeedThis system has a high building speed, because the print head and the lighting unit cover the entire build layer at once. In a time frame of about 12 hours a full build job can be printed. Before unpacking, the build job has to cool down. The cooling process can be accelerated in the unpacking station.
